Job title: Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Are you looking to take your next step in the field of building maintenance?

Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center, the only full-service hotel and convention center serving the Spokane Valley, WA, is looking for an experienced, dedicated Hotel Maintenance Engineer to facilitate day-to-day operations. The chosen individual will be responsible working within a team and ensuring the smooth running and daily upkeep of a busy property.

The right individual for this position must be a positive and self-motivated go-getter, reliable, good communicator and have a great eye for detail. They must be mechanically inclined and have well-rounded knowledge of various trades, such as: repair of kitchen equipment (gas, electric and refrigeration), HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool/hot tub, etc. Leadership and working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and administration thereof.

We will provide the appropriate training and support for the individual who provides the following attributes:

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine repair and maintenance of facilities and property
• Facilitate work orders and response to maintenance requests for external and internal guests in a timely manner
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation, etc.)
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations, remodel)
• Work within a team environment in the field of outstanding guest service
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven continued growth, knowledge and experience as maintenance engineer or in a similar role
• Willingness to learn, advance, and take on new challenges
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
• Time management and leadership abilities
• An eye for detail
• Excellent communicator, interpersonal skills and guest oriented
• Valid Driver's License
